Google Docs has now added a presentation app as well. Macro practice is all about collaboration. Once again, just be mindful of the digital divide.

I thought I would follow up on your reading and Monica’s presentation of Chapter 13 from Nair & Brody with a post about some the resources I mentioned in our discussion. The following resources are in no particular order:

• Getting Things Done (GTD) – David Allen’s book helps you to setup a workflow for handling all tasks and projects. A great number of resources have arisen on the internet around GTD. Check out Merlin Mann’s Getting Started with GTD for more info. I also like these wallpapers to help you remember the workflow.

• First Things First – I find Steven Covey’s Quadrant II time management system to be very helpful in prioritizing projects and tasks. I also like his use of the pebbles and rocks illustration. The weekly planning format is also helpful.

• -Zen Habits -Leo Babauta’s blog is a great resource for tips on time/stress/life management. Some of my favorite posts are:
  • ZTD – a slightly revised (I think for the better) version of GTD
  • MITs – Most Important Tasks
  • How NOT to multitask

• -Margin – Richard Swenson’s book is a must read for avoiding burnout.
• -Inbox Zero – overwhelmed by email? Read Merlin Mann’s philosophy behind how to manage email.

• -ubiquitous capture – the idea of capture ideas and pieces of information wherever you are. Read more in this post on my blog.
